Five Things To Do on a Rainy Day with Kids
What others are reading:
This post was inspired by my kids. I usually have an “idea” of what I’d like to do with them, I offer it and then we go from there. And, I should say that I originally planned to be outdoors, however, the rain did not allow it. So, here is a photo post of fun things to do with your kids to work on your personal fitness while playing with the kiddos!

High Five Push-Ups!

Tuck Jumps turns into mommy swinging youngest around.

You can do walking lunges and squats with a 40 pound kid on your back!

You can do Burpees while they lay around laughing at the name “burpee”!

Finally, those burpees turned into one thousand “donkey kicks” which my children love to do. You can see a 3 second video of it here.
The bottom line is that as long as you keep it fun and let the fun flow in a child “created” manner, they will have a blast and you might burn a few extra calories as well!

I just read every single one of your posts. From one Crossfitter to another, these are awesome! You should submit to the Crossfit Journal.
I like the idea about using the kids as weights. Front squat? Deadlift? C&J? Maybe not C&J.
