The Art of Peaceful Living

Anyone and everyone that knows me, knows that I try and live my life to the absolute fullest. To me this means being healthy, staying active, traveling, serving, laughing, loving and smiling as much as I possibly can. With this being said I think the key is staying organized, and it keeps me sane! I believe that mental and spiritual health are just as important as physical health.

This week at NHerShoes I have been practicing PEACE. Taking time each day to be still and quiet. This has not been an easy task. Because I am so busy  it takes me some time to unwind and just be still. Being intentional is a must. I have turned off the radio in the car, taken walks on my breaks at work, and  spent some time to reflect on the things I am thankful for. I hope that I continue practicing peace and serenity in the long haul. I know it will be tough but it is a must.
